Visits to Offwell C of E Primary School
We are extremely fortunate to have a Very close relationship with the "Outstanding" Offwell C of E Primary School - to which most of our children go on to attend; these very strong links allow us to have regular and frequent visits to the schools Reception class.
These visits are not only thoroughly enjoyed by the children (& all the staff), but they endeavour to ensure a smooth transition on entering Offwell Primary school - they accomplish this by ensuring that: the children familiarise themselves with the environment, the school staff, the basic routines and the other pupils.
The pre-school children and their families are also invited to all the primary schools' annual events - from their Christmas celebrations through to Sports day!
The Result - Our pre-school children benefit from feeling happy, comfortable, reassured and confident to face the challenges of starting at “big” school...just what every parent/guardian wants!
