A definite "Not to be missed" Event..The Pre-School Christmas Nativity - Why, it's what Christmas is all about! Monday 12th December - Curtains open at 9.45am Followed by Refreshments and Raffle Hope to see you all there & don't forget the camera... ...& didn't they do well!
_ Our pre-school group of three and four-year-olds, preformed
beautifully in their annual Christmas Nativity at Pre-School during the
last week of term.
The children quickly learned and enjoyed singing all the carols and they also rather enjoyed the dressing up... The audience of family and friends loved it; it was a brilliant performance and all the children joined in wonderfully Many thanks to all the parents, grandparents and friends for their support - we raised over £200 from our raffle & refreshments! Pictures to follow... We've had a rather BRIGHT Week!
We helped Brake, the national road safety charity to raise awareness about protecting vulnerable road users. A shocking 190 pedestrians and cyclists are killed or injured every day on UK roads. So we've had a Bright Day, or rather a Bright Week! We wanted to raise the children's awareness of road safety so during our BRIGHT week here at Offwell Under Fives we made: traffic light biscuits; a zebra crossing; made our own indoor traffic lights and talked lots and lots about general road safety - from wearing car seats to helmets when out cycling. We also raised £10 by wearing bright clothes towards the charity BRAKE that supports road safety victims. Look who visited us today at Pre-school...Tractor Tom!
We love going on Welly Walks! And look who we saw...
Please give a Warm Welcome to our New Committee.

We'd like to warmly invite you to our A.G.M. which will be held on Tuesday 4th October at 7.00pm at Offwell C of E Primary School. The AGM is open to the parents of all of the children who attend the Pre-school past and present & Future. The purpose of the meeting is to review the previous year's activities, to elect new committee members & to shape the coming year's activities. Offwell Primary School teachers support the committee. The Pre-school is a charity which is run by the parent led committee working together with the staff as a team. The committee is the Ofsted Registered Provider and without a committee there can be no Pre-school. If you feel that you would like to become more involved with the Preschool then please come along to our A.G.M. Volunteering for our parent led management committee offers an ideal opportunity for you to become more actively and practically involved in this aspect of your child’s life; It’ll also make a real difference to how our Pre-School is managed Behind every successful Pre-school is a strong committee of parents who get involved and help. Be a part of our Pre-school community; please come along to our A.G.M. & find out what we do and how you can be involved. After all...Many hands make light work. Anyone can attend the A.G.M and everybody is welcome - We look forward to welcoming you to the meeting! Can you spare 2 minutes of you time please?
It's to help our local Offwell Woodland & Wildlife Trust win an award of £6,000 from NatWest Community Force? They are in competition against much larger organisations and its essential they get as many votes as possible in order to receive the Award since the Successful applicants are those who receive the MOST VOTES from the general public - It’s quick and easy and it costs you nothing to vote...& just think, your vote could make all the difference! All the children at Offwell Primary School regularly use the woods; they benefit from use of the Education Center & its Staff as well as having lots of fun on their Welly Walks too! If you'd like to help just visit :http://communityforce.natwest.com/project/4980 and Vote for The Offwell Woodland & Wildlife Trust...Thanks very much for your support.
