Kay, Michele and Kim & Pip are all qualified in paediatric first aid.
As well as gaining qualifications in early years care and education, the pre-school staffs takes part in further training to help them to keep up-to-date with current thinking about early years care and education and to operate with best practice.
The Pre-School also keeps itself up-to-date with Best practice in Early Years Care & Education
The Management of Pre-School
A parent management committee - whose members are elected by the parents of the children who attend the Pre-school - manages the Pre-school. The elections take place at the Pre-school's A.G.M. (Annual General Meeting), which is held in each year. The committee follow the: Pre-school Learning Alliance Model Pre-school Constitution 2008. The committee is responsible for:
The Annual General Meeting is open to the parents of all of the children who attend the Pre-school. It is their forum for looking back over the previous year's activities and shaping the coming year's activities. Offwell Primary School teachers support the committee. Volunteering for the Pre-School's parent-run committee offers an ideal opportunity for you to become more actively and practically involved in this aspect of your child’s life; It’ll also make a real difference to how our Pre-School is managed.
If you’ve answered "yes" to any of these questions, the team at Offwell Under Fives would love to hear from you! | Our 2011/2012 Committee
