On Tuesday 9th November Mike Newman from EVENTphoto will be visiting Pre-School to take individual & group photographs of all the children. EVENT photo was formed 10 years ago & Mike Newman has 30 years experience as a photographer and has worked as a family portrait photographer since 1989. The aim is to get three relaxed and natural poses as is possible from each family or child. Siblings and other family members are always welcome as are any favorite toys or books to compliment the images. Photographs are proofed back and portraits can be ordered in a range of sizes and finishes from a pack of a 7x5 and four 3.5 x 2.5, up to a 30x20 inch canvas wall print. Packages can be ordered of multiple images. Images by email or on CD with a copyright release are also available making sharing photos with relatives worldwide easy & all in time for Christmas! Family Valentines Bingo! Why not celebrate together with your loved ones this Valentines weekend and join us for a game or two of Family Bingo... ...& of course a Valentines theme will be at the very “Heart” of proceedings in our Refreshments & Raffle...watch out for that Chocolate Fountain!

On Friday 13th November, in a joint venture with Offwell schools - O.S.C.A.R, we hosted our very first Ladies Night and raised £750
We have been simply overwhelmed by the immense generosity and support of our local beauty therapists and retailers who have given up their time and expertise for free! All monies raised from the sale of beauty treatments & therapies came directly to O.S.C.A.R & OFFWELL UNDER FIVES! And an enormous thank you to everyone involved in our main featured events “what not to wear” & the fashion show! A great deal of their time & effort has gone into this and we are extremely grateful. Finally, Thank you so much to all the ladies who came along & to everyone involved for your huge participation in our fundraising event, we raised £720 ... We couldn't have done it without you! He came back...& all photos were in time for Christmas too!!
On Tuesday 24th November The Smart Photographer came back to Pre-School; he specialises in Child Portraiture and offers a Reliable & Affordable service! It’s simply a whole world away from posing for the camera with a forced smile... The photographic experience is relaxed, informal but most of all FUN. This helped capture the “real character” of our children, in original, contemporary photographs for us, and all our family to treasure..Especially as gorgeous Christmas presents! Each child had a 10 minute session with the photographer ...there was no booking fee nor any obligation to buy! We then, at our leisure, had the choice of 6 stunning, contemporary proofs of our child in colour and B&W to choose from.The smart photographer operates at outstanding value, far cheaper than many other photographic studios in the area. He had various prints and products however, a popular and superb value package is the “12 picture mix’n’match”where we could choose from any of the 3 different black and white and 3 colour proofs all for only £30.00 and includes the following prints:3 x 8"x6", 3 x 7"x5", 3 x 6"x4" and 3 x 4"x3" So not only did we all receive simply gorgeous photos of our children we also raised over £90 in the process...so thank you all very much! http://www.thesmartphotographer.com |
