About us
Our aim is to provide a happy, thriving learning environment for children aged 3 to 5 years living in Offwell, Cotleigh, Wilmington and the surrounding area. We can accommodate up to 16 children per session and operate from Cotleigh Village Hall. We obviously have a close relationship with Offwell C of E Voluntary Primary School and as a registered charity we keep our fees low to ensure that Offwell Under Fives is accessible to everyone. Our Operational Plan, which details our day to day running, policies, procedures, termly self-evaluation and most recent Ofsted report, is available here online or on request from the Pre-School.

Safeguarding
Offwell Under Fives takes seriously its responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children; and to work together with other agencies to ensure adequate arrangements within the setting to identify, assess, and support those children who are suffering harm. Offwell Under Fives recognises that all adults, including temporary staff and volunteers have a full and active part to play in protecting children from harm, and that the child’s welfare is the paramount concern. We ensure that all staff working within the setting who have access to children have been checked as to their suitability, including verification of their identity, qualifications, and a satisfactory CRB check (according to guidance).
